As a part of the $50 million renovation, four holes (Nos. 1, 9, 10 and 18) of the legendary Dick Wilson's initial South Course design have been renewed. The South Course routing is unchanged from its classic design, with slight modifications throughout, including significant alterations to the fairway contours, combined with a modernized drainage system that improves water flow throughout both the South and Champions golf courses. Also, more than 30 acres of turf have been eliminated to conserve water, with the remodel to incorporate more native grasses.
